I think the issue might be the limit on the length of Microsoft Access tables names (64 characters). Solution Confirm that the data is not locked by another user or application and that you have full rights to the workspace being ... You literally have nothing to go from and have to figure it all out yourself! The feature classes come in fine if I don't don't try to import them into a Feature Dataset. It is essentially the same geoprocess, and I've never had or read about issues using it. I'm writing a bunch of other feature classes to the same geodatabase without problem. It works the majority of the time, but randomly throws the 000210 Error.
But with a file GDB I lose the ability to run SQL queries on my layers.

It's all part of our job too though, we become more experienced as time goes by.. The name "AND" may be undesirable, but can arise when the names are being constructed from field values. For example, if the user's documents are stored as roaming profiles, etc. To see that "AND" causes the error, when a string like "XXX" does not, run the test below which has no problem with "XXX" but produces the error when it tries
Geodatabase will not allow multiple instances of the same feature class name -- even in different feature datasets. I get error 000594: Input feature 0: falls outside output geometry domains. Personal GDBs are not a supported format for 64-bit processing.
